12 Weeks and 2 days

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but really nothing much has changed/happened in the past couple of weeks. I feel much better recently, although a little bit tired still. It seems as if every 3-4 days or so I wake up really nauseous and dry heave. Attractive, I know.

One new thing however, is that I feel as if I am starting to actually "show" a little bit. I tried to put on a pair of my favorite pants for work on Friday, they fit, but I look like a sausage!!! I used to feel so comfortable in that outfit. Needless to say, it came off and I had to put on my ole' faithful black pants that still fit comfortably. I don't think anyone else can really tell I am "showing" yet, I really only notice when I look in the mirror if I am wearing a tank top, and try to put pants on. Lol.

I do have to say that it does seem as if I had my first "official" cravings in the past couple of weeks: curly fries! I cannot get enough of them. I still cannot eat the pizza Chuck and I make or sour cream and cheddar baked chips, oh well. I have plenty of other foods I am enjoying.

I am extremely excited to hit the 12 week mark! It was a personal huge milestone for me. I think I will feel 100% confident once I have my next Dr.'s appt. at 14 weeks (October 15th). I think then I will be ready to tell the world. It is very hard to keep it a secret from people at work and friends, although quite a few people at work know already. I have been leaking it out slowly but surely.

I used to think for sure this baby was a girl, now I have absolutely NO CLUE!!! Ugh. I hopefully will find out at my 18 week appointment. I am going to ask the doctor next time I am there. That would be wonderful because then I could tell all of my family members at Thanksgiving! We shall see. Knowing them, they will be mean and make me wait until the full 20 weeks. Keep your fingers crossed for me. :)

We keep meaning to take belly pics, but either Chuck forgets to bring the camera home from work, or I feel completely bloated that day. He did bring it home this weekend. Maybe we will finally get one! If so, I will for sure post it.

Tomorrow baby Mamich will be going to his/her first Bears game! Chuck got free tickets from work; I am so excited! I wonder if the baby will be able to hear Daddy being ridiculous as always when at a Bears game. I might have to bring a pair of ear-muffs to put over my belly so he/she doesn't hear the yucky things that come out of Daddy's mouth at a game.

I will try to be more consistent with my postings.....
