26 Week Appointment

Just a quick update.... The appointment was much of the same as usual. However, we did find out that she is now in the 42nd percentile, which makes us both very happy. We were a little nervous when after the first ultrasound they said she was in the 37th. The Doctor assured us yesterday that everything looks perfect and normal! :) The doctor then asked if I had any questions and I had mentioned how I tried pregnancy yoga for the first time and right after I was done, I had this sharp pain in my upper butt/lower back area. I thought I had pulled a muscle really badly, but then the next day it was COMPLETELY gone. Later on that day it came back with some authority. I thought to myself, "If this is a pulled muscle, it seems like the pain would get less and less with time or hurt all of the time; not come and go as it does." I brought this up the to the doctor and she said that due to hormones, the cartilage in my hip/pelvis joints are extra flexible and can have gaps. She said tissue is probably being pinched in the joint. So now I have a pinched nerve from time to time and it is PAINFUL!!! It just comes all of the sudden. I must look so goofy walking on the halls sometimes at work. The doctor did show me a stretch to do when I am in this pain. Fun times!

I have scheduled my glucose screening test for Monday the 18th. Hope it all goes well. I will keep you all updated!

My belly has really gotten BIG!!! Chuck said in the past week it has just completely popped. I will post a picture soon! You will all be amazed...

Chuck and I also thought it would be fun to make predictions of what we thought the little one will look like when she comes out, and what preferences she will have such as: hair or no hair? hair color, eye color, weight, handedness, whose feet, whose nose, etc. We made our predictions separately and then shared them with each other. We are going to put our predictions in her baby book so she can see them later on. We thought it may be a neat thing for her to see.

The baby has been kicking up a storm!!! Chuck will just be lying next to me and feel her! I LOVE it!!!

I cannot believe I will be in my 3rd trimester in 1 and half short weeks! It is going by all so fast!
