Since I was not satisfied with the pictures we had received from our 20 week ultrasound at the hospital, Chuck and I decided to go to Stork Snapshots in Naperville, IL to get better ones. I was extremely satisfied with our experience there!!! We were the last appointment of the day (8:00 pm), so we pulled up to this little store in a strip mall, and thought, "This place looks so cheap!" We walked in, I filled out a form, and into a room we went. The room was AMAZING! It was nice a cozy with a bed, ultrasound machine, and a huge flat screen TV on the wall. The images were projected on the big screen, so it was extremely easy to see the baby! I didn't have to turn my head to look at this little monitor, and Chuck didn't have to lean over me either; it was perfect! When I got my ultrasound at the hospital, it was so "medical" (which I expected. All of the measurements had to be taken, and the tech was just not a happy lady. She kept getting so frustrated that the baby was moving so much. At Stork Snapshots, the lady was AMAZING!!! First of all, we were only supposed to have a 15 minute appointment, but she actually let us see the baby for about 30 minutes. We also were only supposed to get 4 pictures and she gave us 9! 2 of the 9 were in 3D, which she didn't charge us for. All of that for only $60! I highly recommend that place to anyone! Anyways..... she let us see the baby move and kick. She brought this baby to "life" for us. I felt so connected to the baby, like I never have before. She kept saying how cute her nose was and how long her limbs are! Chuck and I were laughing because we are both so short! How can this baby be tall?!?! She asked if we had any tall family members, nope! I am thinking she has just grown quickly so far, and it will start to taper off. This technician said she was "1000% sure" it was a girl. The ultrasound tech from the hospital, said she couldn't be positive because of the way the baby was positioned... That was another thing I didn't like. Having that little bit of doubt in the back of my head; however, it is no longer there! We are going to be having a little girl, and I could not be more excited! It was such a great experience, and we will be heading back to Naperville in about 2 months to get a full 3D/4D ultrasound! Yay!

The profile picture I so desperately wanted!

This is another profile pic with her little mouth open!

Here is a 3D picture of her leg. Can you find it? It looks like a little chicken leg. I drew a little circle around it.

This is a pretty obvious picture of her arms crossed at the wrist. The whole appointment her hands were up by her head.
